Cartersville, GA – Man Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Jones Mill Rd
Cartersville, GA (May 2, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, May 1, a man was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash in Cartersville.
According to deputies with the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened on Jones Mill Road. At the time, a 33-year-old man was driving his motorcycle when he went around a curve and was struck by a passenger vehicle. The motorcycle overturned and was left extensively damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help the motorcyclist. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
