Cartersville, GA – Injuries Reported in Serious Car Accident on Cassville Rd
Cartersville, GA (June 5, 2021) – At 1:15 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, June 4, a car accident with injuries occurred in Cartersville.
According to police, the accident happened on Cassville Road around the area of North Irwin Street. Two vehicles collided with each other in the area. One of the vehicles, a blue SUV, had extensive front-end damage.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
All north and southbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
