Cartersville, GA – Injuries Reported in Car Accident at I-75 & I-285
Cartersville, GA (May 9, 2021) – On Sunday evening, May 9, a serious multi-vehicle collision sent several people to the hospital in the Cartersville area.
According to Clayton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 close to I-285. Several vehicles collided with one another in the area, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. At least two people, who have not been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
