Cartersville, GA – Car Crash at Old Alabama Rd & Paga Mine Rd
Cartersville, GA (August 10, 2021) – At 10:30 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, August 10, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cartersville.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Paga Mine Road. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly collided after entering the intersection. The accident was so forceful that it severely damaged the vehicles involved. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time until police cleared the scene.
