Cartersville, GA – Car Crash at Main St & Gilmer St Intersection
Cartersville, GA (April 9, 2021) – At 10:50 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, a car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Cartersville.
According to Bartow County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Main Street and Gilmer Street when two vehicles collided. One of the vehicles immediately overturned and the other sustained severe front-end damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
