Cartersville, GA – Car Crash at E Church St & N Morningside Dr
Cartersville, GA (August 27, 2021) – At 1:14 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, August 27, a car crash with injuries occurred in Cartersville.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of East Church Street and North Morningside Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles collided with each other. The damaged vehicles had to be removed by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. One of the victims, identified as an adult female, received an injured foot.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
