Cartersville, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on Gilreath Rd
Cartersville, GA (August 19, 2021) – At 4:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 18, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Cartersville.
According to police, the accident happened at 124 Gilreath Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more people were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated by fire crews. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time until police cleared the scene.
