Cartersville, GA (June 16, 2021) – On Wednesday morning, June 16, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cartersville.
According to Paulding County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Joe Frank Harris Parkway and Oak Hill Circle. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the two vehicles to collide forcefully, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person involved in the accident was taken to the hospital with a leg injury but they are expected to be okay.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
