Cartersville, GA – Car Accident at Burnt Hickory Rd & Mission Rd
Cartersville, GA (July 19, 2021) – At 1:56 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, July 17, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cartersville.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Burnt Hickory Road and Mission Road. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the crash. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time.
