Carrollton, GA – Car Crash at GA-27 & Bridge Point Blvd Leads to Injuries
Carrollton, GA (December 16, 2021) – At 6:35 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, December 16, a car crash with injuries occurred in Carrollton.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-27 and Bridge Point Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
