Canton, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-575 Near Sixes Rd
Canton, GA (April 10, 2021) – At 1 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, April 10, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Canton.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-575 around the area of Sixes Road, exit 11. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the collision. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to help at the scene of the accident. One or more victims were hospitalized and taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
A right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays.
