Canton, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-575 Near Sixes Rd
Canton, GA (April 18, 2021) – At 11:19 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, April 18, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Canton.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-575 around the area of Sixes Road. Three vehicles collided with each other in the area due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles were seen off the side of the road with extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
