Savannah, GA - Injuries Reported in Two-Car Crash at Waters Ave & Jackson Blvd

Canton, GA (April 29, 2021) – Around 7 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, April 29, a car accident took place at an intersection in Canton.

According to the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Univeter Road and New Light Road. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time, which led to delays for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
