Canton, GA – Car Accident at Hickory Flat Hwy & Northside Cherokee Blvd
Canton, GA (July 23, 2021) – At 4:26 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 22, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Canton.
According to the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Hickory Flat Highway and Northside Cherokee Boulevard. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles collided, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked for a period of time, which led to extensive delays in the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
