Canton, GA – Car Accident at Cumming Hwy & Union Hill Rd Intersection
Canton, GA (July 19, 2021) – At 9:39 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 19, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Canton.
According to Cherokee County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Cumming Highway and Union Hill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided after entering the intersection. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be removed from the road by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
