Calhoun, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries at GA-53 & Curtis Pkwy
Calhoun, GA (November 19, 2022) – Around 7:58 a.m. on the morning of Friday, November 18, a two-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Calhoun.
According to Gordon County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-53 and Curtis Parkway. Two vehicles were allegedly entering the intersection at the same time, which caused them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. This led to delays in the area.
