Calhoun, GA – Semi-Truck Collision Leads to Injuries in NB Lanes of I-75
Calhoun, GA (December 28, 2022) – A semi-truck collision with injuries took place on a highway in Calhoun on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 28.
According to Gordon County officials, the accident happened around 1:20 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 312 under the Highway 53 bridge. Police confirmed that two semi-trucks collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known, causing severe damage. One vehicle stopped in the middle lane of traffic, and the other came to a rest on the shoulder.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties in the trucks sustained injuries in the accident.
