Calhoun, GA – Rollover Crash at Union Grove Church Rd & Pioneer Dr Leads to Injuries
Calhoun, GA (June 11, 2022) – Late Friday night, June 11, a rollover crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Calhoun.
According to Gordon County officials, the accident happened before 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Union Grove Church Road and Pioneer Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided forcefully with each other, causing one of the vehicles to overturn. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but officials continue their investigation into the collision at this time.
