Cairo, GA – Two Individuals Killed in Fatal Collision on GA-111
Cairo, GA (June 13, 2021) – On Saturday, June 12, a serious and fatal collision occurred on a major roadway in Cairo.
According to Grady County officials, the accident happened on GA-111. The exact circumstances of the collision are not yet known but it is believed that two or more vehicles collided in the area. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two victims, who have not yet been identified, were pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries. It is not known if anybody received injuries in the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
