Buford, GA – Truck Accident with Injuries in WB Lanes of Cumming Hwy
Buford, GA (December 15, 2021) – At 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, a truck accident with injuries occurred on a major roadway in Buford.
According to police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of the Cumming Highway around the area of James Burgess Road. A truck was traveling in the area when it collided with a passenger vehicle or two in the area. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
