6/12 LaFayette, GA – Single-Vehicle Collision with Injuries in SB Lanes of GA-27

Buford, GA (April 27, 2021) – At 2:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 27, a fatal two-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Buford.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on GA-13 around the area of Holiday Road. Two vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages to both cars.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A female driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver of the other vehicle was injured and transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, though his current condition is not known.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time as police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
