Buford, GA – Child Killed in Fatal Accident at Hamilton Mill Rd & GA-211
Buford, GA (December 1, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, December 1, a child was killed in a fatal accident at an intersection in Buford.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-211 and Hamilton Mill Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
