Blairsville, GA – Two Killed in Fatal House Fire on Pauline Ln
Blairsville, GA (May 2, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, May 2, a fatal house fire occurred in Blairsville.
According to Union County officials, the explosion and fire took place at a home off of Pauline Lane. Police confirmed that a gas tank outside of a home caught on fire and exploded, causing the home to be engulfed within seconds. Individuals as far as South Carolina felt the blast of the incident.
Paramedics and numerous responders were present at the scene to help those in need. Two victims, who have not yet been identified, were killed as a result of the fire and pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
