Bibb Co, GA – Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-16 at Sgoda Rd
Bibb Co, GA (May 16, 2021) – Around 11:30 p.m. on Friday evening, May 14, a collision involving multiple vehicles occurred in Bibb County.
The Georgia Department of Transportation confirmed that the accident took place in the westbound lanes of I-16 when at least two vehicles suddenly collided with each other for unknown reasons. The accident led to severe damages and injuries.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The Bibb County Police Department confirmed that several lanes were closed near Sgoda Road as a result of the accident.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
