Between, GA – Two Injured in Rollover Crash at US-78 & Youth Monroe Rd
Between, GA (June 26, 2022) – Two people sustained injuries in a serious rollover crash that took place at an intersection in Between on Friday morning, June 24.
According to Walton County officials, the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of US-78 and Youth Monroe Road. It is believed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they simultaneously entered the intersection, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. One of the vehicles overturned as a result. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two people were injured as a result of the accident. The parties received treatment at the scene and were then rushed to local hospitals for further treatment.
Two lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. This led to slight delays until police cleared the scene.
