Between, GA – Motor Vehicle Crash with Injuries at US-78 & Youth Monroe Rd
Between, GA (October 29, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a motor vehicle accident that took place at an intersection in Between on Friday morning, October 28.
According to Walton County officials, the accident happened around 11:50 a.m. at the intersection of US-78 and Youth Monroe Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Several parties were injured in the accident and treated at the scene by EMS crews. The parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
