Bainbridge, GA – One Killed in Fatal Truck Accident on US-84
Bainbridge, GA (May 13, 2021) – On Wednesday night, May 12, one person was killed in a fatal truck accident in Bainbridge.
According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of US-84 when two tractor-trailers collided with one another due to unknown reasons. The accident led to severe damages and debris scattered all over that specific area of the road.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One of the truck drivers was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Their identities have not yet been released.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes as a result of the accident.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is currently ongoing.
