Austell, GA – Car Crash at Riverside Pkwy & Factory Shoals Rd
Austell, GA (August 10, 2021) – At 5:57 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, August 10, a serious car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Austell.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Riverside Parkway and Factory Shoals Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other after entering the intersection. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area, which led to slight delays until police were able to clear the scene.
