Austell, GA – Car Crash at Riverside Pkwy & Cityview Dr Intersection
Austell, GA (December 1, 2021) – At 8:41 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, December 1, a car crash with injuries occurred in Austell.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Riverside Parkway and Cityview Drive. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
