Augusta, GA – Two-Car Accident at Milledgeville Rd & Kissingbower Rd
Augusta, GA (July 31, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, July 31, a two-car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Augusta.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Kissingbower Road. Two vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time. A white sedan sustained front-end damage and a silver sedan sustained side damage. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene. Gold Cross EMS helped multiple victims with injuries, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to seek an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
