Augusta, GA – Three-Vehicle Collision on River Watch Pkwy
Augusta, GA (December 17, 2021) – At 2:26 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, December 17, a three-vehicle collision occurred on a major roadway in Augusta.
According to Columbia County officials, the accident happened at 3000 River Watch Parkway. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
