Augusta, GA – Injury Car Accident Reported at 3674 Deans Bridge Rd
Augusta, GA (May 9, 2021) – Around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, a car accident involving injuries occurred near a busy intersection in Augusta.
According to Richmond County officials, the accident happened at 3674 Deans Bridge Road at 6:15 p.m. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided and were badly damaged as a result of the wreck.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized due to unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
