Augusta, GA – Injuries Reported in Car Crash on Pleasant Home Rd
Augusta, GA (August 29, 2021) – At 8:11 p.m. on the night of Saturday, August 28, a car crash with injuries occurred in Augusta.
According to Richmond County officials, the accident happened on Pleasant Home Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the collision. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision at this time.
