Augusta, GA – Injuries Reported in Bus Crash at Windsor Spring Rd & Regis Ct
Augusta, GA (June 10, 2022) – Around 7:05 a.m. on Friday morning, June 10, a bus crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Augusta.
According to Augusta officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Windsor Spring Road and Regis Court. A bus and an SUV were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not fully known. The SUV sustained severe front-end damage as a result of the collision and the bus was struck on the side.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were treated at the scene and then rushed to local hospitals for further treatment.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time, which led to delays in the area.
