Augusta, GA – Four-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on I-520
Augusta, GA (April 5, 2021) – On Saturday, April 3, a four-vehicle collision took place on a major roadway in Augusta that led to injuries.
According to Richmond County officials, the accident happened on I-520 around the area of Wrightsboro Road and Gordon Highway. Four vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Traffic was backed up in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
