Augusta, GA – Five-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on Deans Bridge Rd
Augusta, GA (May 14, 2021) – At 11 p.m. on Thursday night, May 13, a five-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Augusta.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at 3500 Deans Bridge Road. Five vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were present at the scene. Two drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles and were hospitalized with severe injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, both northbound and southbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
