Augusta, GA (August 27, 2021) – On Friday morning, August 27, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Augusta.
According to Richmond County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Laney Walker Boulevard and 12th Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
