Atlanta, GA – Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Peachtree Rd & Piedmont Rd
Atlanta, GA (October 12, 2021) – On Monday night, October 11, a woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident at an intersection in Atlanta. It is believed that she was pushed out of a moving car at the time.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Piedmont Road. A 28-year-old woman was allegedly involved in a fight with a man in the area. She got into a Lamborghini with him and the altercation continued. When the vehicle reached the intersection, the woman was likely pushed out of the moving vehicle.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help. The woman was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital with traumatic injuries. She was tragically pronounced dead while there.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. This led to delays in the area as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
