Atlanta, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-85
Atlanta, GA (April 11, 2021) – At 9:39 p.m. on the night of Saturday, April 10, a two-vehicle crash took place on a highway in Atlanta.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Clairmont Road. Two vehicles collided with each other, causing one of them to spin out. The vehicles sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
