Atlanta, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries in EB Lanes of I-20
Atlanta, GA (September 26, 2021) – At 9:22 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, September 26, a two-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of H.E. Holmes Drive, exit 52. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other after one lost control. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
