Atlanta, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-75 Near 17th St
Atlanta, GA (May 28, 2021) – At 6:13 a.m. on the morning of Friday, May 28, a two-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of 17th Street. A pickup truck and a passenger vehicle collided in the area. The pickup truck was photographed on top of the vehicle, both of which had severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Three right lanes of traffic were blocked until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
