Atlanta, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision Leads to Injuries on I-85
Atlanta, GA (June 3, 2021) – At 6 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, June 2, a two-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of 17th Street. One vehicle was traveling in the southbound lanes when it struck the rear of another vehicle. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area, which led to extensive delays.
