Atlanta, GA (August 4, 2021) – Officers with the Atlanta Police Department say that a car crash left at least three people seriously injured on Monday afternoon, August 2.

Atlanta police stated that the wreck occurred on Northside Drive at McDaniel Street around 2:00 p.m., causing serious injuries to three people while one driver faces charges for driving without a valid license.

Two men were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital via ambulance in serious condition. According to the initial reports, a woman in one of the vehicles also sustained serious injuries and is listed in critical condition at the hospital.

A preliminary investigation showed that the at-fault driver was traveling northbound when they attempted to make a left turn. Shortly thereafter, that driver crashed into the second car heading southbound. The woman, who was traveling in the southbound car, was ejected as a result of the accident, police said.

An investigation is ongoing at this time, and officers have not released further details about the victims’ identities or the at-fault driver’s charges.
