Atlanta, GA – Truck Accident with Injuries on I-20 Near Lowery Blvd
Atlanta, GA (July 7, 2021) – On Wednesday morning, July 7, a truck accident with injuries occurred on a major highway in Atlanta.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the accident happened on I-20 around the area of Lowery Boulevard. Two tractor-trailers were allegedly driving in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roads were blocked in the area and major delays continued until approximately 10:30 a.m.
