Atlanta, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision on The Perimeter Near Jonesboro Rd
Atlanta, GA (April 16, 2021) – Around 1:24 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, April 16, a tractor-trailer collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of Jonesboro Road. A tractor-trailer and at least one passenger vehicle collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Numerous lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a short period of time, which led to delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
