Atlanta, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident with Injuries on I-285
Atlanta, GA (April 19, 2021) – On Sunday, April 18, a tractor-trailer accident involving several other vehicles occurred in Atlanta.
According to Clayton County officials, the accident happened on I-285 near the I-75 area. Multiple vehicles collided in the area, including multiple passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer. The accident left the tractor-trailer overturned in the area.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Only one lane of traffic was moving throughout the afternoon hours but police had the area fully cleared by 11:30 p.m.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
