Atlanta, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident with Injuries in NB Lanes of I-285
Atlanta, GA (August 5, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, August 5, a tractor-trailer accident with injuries took place on a highway in Atlanta.
According to authorities, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Cobb Parkway. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it collided with a passenger vehicle. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
One right lane of traffic was blocked following the crash. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
