Atlanta, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident on Downtown Connector
Atlanta, GA (July 26, 2021) – At 6:37 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 26, a tractor-trailer accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened on Downtown Connector around the area of Freedom Parkway. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it struck the back of a passenger vehicle. The passenger vehicle was left with extensive damages as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
