Atlanta, GA – Three-Vehicle Collision with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-75
Atlanta, GA (December 18, 2021) – At 1:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, December 17, a three-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of I-85. Traffic was heavy in the area as several vehicles became involved in a chain-reaction collision in the area. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
