Atlanta, GA – Three-Vehicle Collision Leads to Injuries on I-285
Atlanta, GA (July 13, 2021) – At 5:40 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, a three-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of College Park. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision were left with extensive damages. The vehicles were photographed being taken from the scene by a flatbed truck.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Multiple people were allegedly injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
